Days 1-3 Rome
Explore the ancient city of Rome, including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Pantheon. Take a stroll through the beautiful Piazza Navona and the Spanish Steps. Take a guided tour of Rome to make the most of your time here. There are some amazing food tours here that can’t be missed.
Days 4-5 Florence
Take a train to Florence and spend two days exploring the birthplace of the Renaissance. Visit the Uffizi Gallery, the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s David, and climb the Duomo for a stunning view of the city. There are many options for guided tours here.
Days 6-8 Sardinia
Make your way to Naples by car or train. Take a flight from Naples to Olbia (OLB) – average flights take about an hour and cost from $50-100 each way via airlines like EasyJet.
There are plenty of hotels in the Olbia area, some of which have spectacular views of the clear blue waters.
Visit the Basilica di San Simplicio, relax on the stunning beaches, explore the old town, go diving or snorkeling, take a boat trip from Olbia to the nearby islands of La Maddalena and Caprera with their amazingly clear waters. Don’t forget to explore the countryside, heading inland to discover the rolling hills and rural landscapes of Sardinia.

Days 9-13 Sorrento and Amalfi Coast
Find a home base in Sorrento, there are many hotels and apartments that are convenient to the bus and ferry lines. In Sorrento, you can explore the old town, the Piazza Tasso, take a walk along the Marina Grande, visit the Duomo, visit Pompeii, and take a boat to the island of Capri. There are many tours that leave from Sorrento to the surrounding areas including the Amalfi coast and Capri.
This area is famous for lemons, so be sure to try the local Limoncello and lemon specialties.
Take a bus, private car, private boat, or ferry boat to the Amalfi Coast and spend your days exploring this stunning coastline. Visit the beautiful towns of Positano, Ravello, and Amalfi.
Day 14 Back to Rome
